Background

Dentsu started the so-called “Work Style Reform” in 2015. RPA played a key role in the initiative. Dentsu and DENTSU SOKEN chose UiPath as a strategic partner of the RPA software provider and leveraged their robots to achieve the reduction of workload by 16,000 hours per month (as of 2018) .

Challenge/Issue

Based on the achievement of Dentsu “Work Style Reform”, now DENTSU SOKEN came to consider “How to extend the capability of RPA implementation to our clients in different industries? “. RPA has the potential to digitally transform and optimize many Japanese corporations’ business operations.

Solution

ISID began to introduce UiPath to various industries and corporations. Such clients include some major banking corporations and manufacturers in Japan. Now that RPA proved to be effective to transform business operations in Japan, RPA (especially UiPath) has become popular and accepted all over the world.

It would not be an overstatement to say that DENTSU SOKEN played a major role in promoting UiPath to be one of the most influential RPA software companies in the world.

Result

With a lot of achievements of RPA projects in Japan, DENTSU SOKEN USA started to transfer the knowledge to clients in the US. For example, DENTSU SOKEN supported RPA introduction for a commercial bank both in Japan and in the US. DENTSU SOKEN will accelerate RPA business in the US and contribute to the enhancement of business operations for Japanese corporations in New York.
